Dockers
Step out of your denim style rut and be inspired by Hollywood icon Tab Hunter in khakis

Dockers encourage you to step out of your denim this summer, by launching a limited edition khaki series. Expertly hand tailored to create a slimmer silhouette, the collection, entitled K-1 Khaki, is inspired by 1950s Hollywood icon Tab Hunter. Available in three styles, each trouser comes serialised with its own production number, sail cloth lining and sleek metal fly buttons, while the stylish addition of a red Dockers K-1 printed stamp on the back pocket, discreetly pays homage to the workwear brand’s heritage. Since its launch in 1986, Dockers has evolved from the dockyard into a fashionable label of choice for those looking for style and comfort. The Limited Edition Pant will be available at selected stores across Europe, including Solo Norrmalmstorg in Stockholm and STORM in Copenhagen. Prices start at €159. www.eu.dockers.com

Church’s shoes
The Prada-owned heritage brand is the footwear of choice for James Bond

If classical styling and quality craftsmanship are paramount to your choice, Church’s English Shoes are a must-stop shop. Founded in 1873, Church’s elegant, masculine and sophisticated footwear has been the choice of well-dressed British gentlemen for over 130 years. Bought by the Prada group in 1999, their trajectory has continued on the ascent, with Church’s ranking as James Bond’s footwear of choice in not one, but four of the spy’s films and counting – GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Quantum Of Solace. The brand’s high-end models all have aspiring, quintessentially English aliases such as The Consul, The Diplomat, The Chetwynd and The Gunthorpe and are still lovingly handmade in Northampton, costing approximately €340 a pair. With stores in Brussels, Geneva and Milan (and 11 in Britian alone) you’ll be hard pressed to find a better shoe. www.church-footwear.com

The little black (bandage) dress

It’s universally acknowledged that no woman’s wardrobe is complete without a little black dress. It can be dressed up or dressed down for day, and promises to hide all manner of unsightly sins. Hervé Léger’s bandage dress is the dress of the moment and favoured by celebrities and pop stars alike. First unveiled in 1989, the sheath-like frock is a feat of sturdy engineering, consisting of a series of elasticated bandages wrapped so tightly around the torso it earned the French designer the moniker ‘King of Cling’. Twenty years on and the dress has retained its appeal. Treating yourself to one should be considered a lifetime investment, while finding a credible high street equivalent is not easy. But thankfully Reiss has stepped up to the mark with their stylish version.
