May 1st, 2007Paris’s favourite concept store and super-chic boutique, Colette, celebrates its 10th anniversary this month by collaborating with the world’s favourite apparel brand, Lacoste. Together with quirky French graphic design duo, Kuntzel + Deygas, Lacoste have produced 14 limited edition polo shirts and sneakers, embroidered with Colette’s favourite canine friends and mascots, Caperino & Peperone. The Lacoste mesh, high-top sneakers also boast different designs – one with the dogs chasing the crocodile and the other with the crocodile chasing the dogs. The inside of the sneakers and the laces are adorned with the message ‘Caperino & Peperone Love LACOSTE’, making them collectors’ items for any self-respecting sneaker or Lacoste fan.
