High streets across Germany have been buoyed by the launch of new fashion brand Mitch & Co. Set to fill the gap in the European market for fashionable basics, Mitch & Co. is aimed at a young, fashion-conscious consumer, and promises a men’s and women’s range of urban streetwear, sportswear and basic fashion accessories. The man behind the brand is top designer Michael Michalsky. Michalsky’s extensive experience includes an 11-year stint at adidas as Global Creative Director where he developed the much applauded Y-3 line with Yohji Yamamoto, and worked on collaborations with Stella McCartney and Missy Elliot.
Japanese fashion label Commes des Garçon have teamed up with Speedo to launch a collection of classic summer silhouettes. It teams Rei Kawakubo’s bold prints and eye-catching graphics with Speedo’s technical expertise. There are five essential womenswear designs in black and white, navy and white, and vibrant red complete with coordinating goggles and stylish swim caps. The men’s range boasts three designs on three classic Speedo styles: the brief, the jammer and watershorts, adorned with a bold Speedo print on the leg. Model and actress-cum-designer Milla Jovovich has launched a limited edition capsule collection for Spanish fashion house Mango. The exclusive collection includes a selection of this season’s must-have summer dresses.

The ultra glamorous songstress Beyoncé Knowles is set to be the new face of Emporio Armani’s latest women’s fragrance, Emporio Armani Diamonds.
