Time for tea

With smoking bans transforming public places across Europe, the idea of partying all night in a crowded, smoke-filled nightclub has lost its appeal… and relevance. Cosmopolitan, well-heeled – and, above all, civilised – trendsetters are rediscovering the joys of tea rooms and socialising amid their calm, luxurious settings. It seems sipping hot tea is the new cool.

LONDON

The Lanesborough
