Welcome to the Inflight Magazine of Brussels Airlines
Ah, September. Season of guestlists and front-row snarking, and malnourished eastern bloc teenagers tottering round with balloons appended to their knees. Blueberry champagne
“Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends.” So said Francis Bacon. And if there’s a bon mot better suited to the air-kissing, jawclanking, back-stabbing hive of bitchery that is Fashion Week, we’ve yet to hear it. Knock it back straight when you’re in London (show sponsor Moët & Chandon, for preference), and mix with absinthe in Milan.
Or try it in a blueberry champagne cocktail:
Mix one part white blueberry liqueur with one part cranberry juice, two parts vodka and three parts champagne.
Serve cold, while slagging off friends and colleagues.
