If your February is in need of some sparkling inspiration, head down to the Elaine Levy Project, where the Goa-based designer and artist Yahel Chirinian is exhibiting her first Belgian show. Carnival 2010
The world-renowned Carnival is one of the highlights of the Venice season – watch as the city goes crazy with events, processions and parties. Stockholm Furniture Fair
With Sir Paul Smith as guest of honour, you can bet your Broberg and Ridderstråle Wimbledon chair that this is going to be one of the best furniture fairs yet. Mr Gay World 2010
The search for Mr Gay World moves to the winter wonderland of Oslo for 2010. The competition sees 24 men compete in a series of events designed to identify a leader who will inspire those around him to fight for equality. Berlinale International Film Festival
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, this renowned festival will be hosting a series of events including an art installation and public screening at the Brandenburg Gate, as well as an exhibition of star portraits around town. Flamenco Festival at Sadler’s Wells
Put some Spanish flair in your step and watch some of the world’s finest flamenco dancers as they spin and twirl to the emotion of the Andalucian beat. The Complete Sculptures of Edgar Degas
