On yer bike

Chanel has come up with the perfect gift for eco-conscious fashion-lovers this Christmas. Created in homage to Coco Chanel’s love of sport, the Chanel bicycle boasts eight speeds and comes adorned with the fashion house’s signature quilted black leather panels and double-C logo. It’s available in Chanel boutiques this month and costs €9,000, so write your letter to Santa and start being very good indeed. With jewel-encrusted bicycle clips as an extra, you may be able to negotiate a couple of stocking fillers too.

Look a billion dollars

The brainchild of music producer Pharrell Williams and designer Nigo (founder of A Bathing Ape), clothes range Billionaire Boys Club and its younger brother Ice Cream provide limited edition high-end luxury sportswear with which to treat yourself this Christmas. Only available in a splattering of shops across the globe to retain its exclusivity, BBC (as its affectionately known) is accredited with introducing the ‘all-over print’, its colourful graphics splashing everything from T-shirts to sweats and denim. There’s also a trainer range to ensure billionaire boys are as well-shod as they are dressed.

Skindulgence

Every modern man knows skin needs a little pick-me-up at this time of year. If the cold winds and last-minute Christmas shopping don’t get you, all that late-night revelry will. Gentlemen’s Tonic is the perfect antidote to these rigours and stresses. The London establishment in the heart of Mayfair is the best place in town to get a haircut (you can watch TV while having a trim in your own private cutting station) and has now launched a product range for skin and hair, in smart, stylish and understated packaging. The products are made from naturally based plant-derived materials from sustained and renewable sources, and have a clean, fresh and sophisticated smell.

BIG KNITS FOR BIG BOYS

Fashion has taken a practical turn and catered for the cold weather this winter. It has gone gaga for big-knit men’s sweaters and cardigans, such as this thick-knit white cardigan from Gucci (left). Chunky and rough-hewn, there’s no better way to keep snug as the temperature drops. Just watch out your girlfriend doesn’t love it as much as you do, or you’ll stay cold this winter.
